- Foundation or Matriculation qualification with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and a Credit in Mathematics at SPM Level or its equivalent, or
- Diploma in Computing or Business field with a minimum CGPA 2.00; or in other fields with a minimum CGPA 2.00 and a Credit in Mathematics at SPM Level or its equivalent: or
- Pass STPM with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in any 2 subjects and a Credit in Mathematics at SPM Level or its equivalent; or
- Pass in STAM with minimum grade of Jayyid, and Pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level; or
- Pass GCE A Level in any 2 subjects with a pass in Mathematics; or
- UEC with at least Grade B in any 5 subjects including Mathematics; or
- Any equivalent qualification recognised by the Government of Malaysia

Year 1
Principles of Management
This module covers four basic pillars of management – planning, organising, directing, and monitoring. Topics include managerial functions, motivation of employees, the decision-making process, accountability, authority, personnel management, and the importance of effective communication to managers.
Foundation of Information Systems
This module delves into modern information systems in global organisations, focusing on integration for competitive edge. It covers key components like people, software, hardware, data, and communication tech, alongside topics such as security, ethics, and societal implications.
Cognitive Process and Problem Solving
This module introduces human cognitive processes from an information-processing perspective. You will explore educational issues, personal and social sense-making, and learn heuristic frameworks for effective learning, thinking, and problem-solving strategies.
Principles of Marketing
This module covers essential marketing concepts, processes, and factors shaping marketing strategies. It examines environmental forces impacting marketing, elements of the marketing mix, and contrasts buying behaviors between consumers and businesses. Additionally, it explores international marketing issues, including the global marketing environment and strategies for products and promotion.
Microeconomics
This module introduces basic microeconomic concepts, focusing on demand theory, elasticity, market equilibrium, consumer behavior, production theory, cost analysis, and different market structures like perfect competition, monopoly, monopolistic competition, and oligopoly.
Business Mathematics II
This module covers the basic mathematical skills needed to understand, analyse, and solve mathematical problems encountered in business and finance, and in investment decision making. You are expected to be able to perform the basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and algebraic operations.
Accounting
This module is designed to introduce accounting concepts such as accounting equation, double entry system, ledger and journals, types of assets, liabilities, capital and also preparation of trading, profit and loss account and balance sheet. Besides that, you will learn how to evaluate stocks, preparation of bank reconciliation and control accounts.
Database Systems
This module covers the relational database systems RDBMS - the predominant system for business, scientific and engineering applications at present. The topics are reinforced using tools such as Oracle or MS SQL Server in labs. The module includes Entity-Relation model, Normalisation, Relational model, Relational algebra, and data access queries as well as an introduction to SQL.
Problem Solving and Programming
This module contains introduction topics to programming using the language C/C++. It includes an introduction to computers and programming as well as the basics of programming, problem solving and software development. Data types and operators, selections, repetitions, functions, arrays, files, structured data, and pointers are among the topics to be studied in this course.
Business Statistics II
This module offers essential statistical skills for business, including data collection, presentation, probability, hypothesis testing, regression, and correlation. Topics covered include numerical and categorical data analysis, normal distribution, sampling, and index numbers.
Macroeconomics
You will be introduced to basic macroeconomic concepts and theories. Topics include national income accounting, consumption theory, national income equilibrium, money and banking, monetary and fiscal policy, inflation, unemployment, international trade, balance of payments, and exchange rates.
Organisational Behaviour
This course explores the issues and approaches in managing the information systems function in organizations and how the IS function integrates/ supports/ enables various types of organizational capabilities. The course addresses issues relating to defining the high-level IS infrastructure and the systems that support the operational, administrative, and strategic needs of the organization.
Integrity and Anti-Corruption
This module explores corruption basics, emphasising on integrity and anti-corruption measures. It covers different forms of corruption, abuse of power, and prevention strategies through experiential learning. You will grasp the concepts of integrity, corruption, anti-corruption, abuse of power, and prevention in both societal and organisational contexts.
Community Service
This module focuses on the development of students’ communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills through community service and cooperative learning. This will include the values of social responsibility, leadership, and teamwork. The primary emphasis is on community service and or co-curricular activities that may require going beyond the university environment.
Philosophy and Current Issues
This module delves into the link between philosophy, the National Philosophy of Education, and Rukun Negara, focusing on how philosophy shapes thought culture. It covers key philosophical topics—epistemology, metaphysics, and ethics—within contemporary contexts. Emphasis is placed on philosophy as a means for cultural dialogue and promoting shared values, fostering a comprehensive understanding of interconnected disciplines.

Data and Information Management

Year 3
Production and Operation Management
This module focuses on the operations of management organisation, principles of efficient location, layout and materials handling design in the workplace, method study and work measurement principles to business, effective design planning, scheduling, control systems for various types of manufacturing and service-oriented business and technology used in industry. You are required to make a visit to a firm or factory as your group project and provide a report upon the visit.
Enterprise Architecture
This module explores the design, selection, implementation, and management of enterprise IT solutions. The focus is on applications and infrastructure and their fit with the business. You will learn frameworks and strategies for infrastructure management, system administration, data/information architecture, content management, distributed computing, middleware, legacy system integration, system consolidation, software selection, total cost of ownership calculation, IT investment analysis, and emerging technologies.
Corporate Social Responsibility
This module covers the introduction on the relationship between business and society, corporate social responsibility, business ethics and the relationship between government and business issues of usage, ecology and the environment and community.
IS Strategy, Management, and Acquisition
This module explores the issues and approaches in managing the information systems function in organisations and how the IS function integrates, supports, and enables various types of organisational capabilities. It also addresses issues relating to defining the high-level IS infrastructure and the systems that support the operational, administrative, and strategic needs of the organisation.
Strategic Management
This module focuses on the strategic management process to enable organisations to achieve strategic competitiveness. It integrates knowledge acquired from prior courses such as management, marketing, accounting, ethics, and information systems. The much-acclaimed SWOT analysis is the conduit of analysis allowing you to explore and investigate facts from selected cases and to use it as a strategic planning tool.
Industrial Training
This module includes exposure in an actual working environment. You will work in organisations outside the university; enabling you to apply concepts and theories acquired during this course.
Final Year Project I
This module includes the plans of the research which include collecting and analysing data. You are also required to complete an academic research project to be submitted at the end of the semester. The project is carried out under the supervision of the lecturer.

Mobile Game Programming
This module teaches you game design basics and programming essentials, culminating in the creation of Android-compatible game engines and playable apps. Through hands-on projects, you will learn to develop games for both smartphones and tablets using APIs from the latest and earlier Android SDK releases.
Game Production and Publishing
This module introduces some order to the chaotic world of game production and publishing. It focuses on the nuts and bolts of managing game development, including defining the game's goal, creating a plan to achieve this goal, effectively managing the people who make the game happen, and dealing with all the other bumps along the way.
Final Year Project
This capstone module entails system design specification, implementation, and evaluation, culminating in a written report, demonstration, and oral presentation. It challenges you to apply your knowledge to a specific topic, enhancing organisational, theoretical, and applied skills.
